In Sesame Street’s never ending quest to combine popular culture and education here are two videos for your enjoyment. The first is Feist’s (1,2,3,4… from the Apple commercials) guest appearance with a song to teach counting. The second is the Plain White Ts (Hey There Delilah) doing a new version called The Letter T.
What’s interesting is that it’s entirely possible parents will connect much better to the music than the children. I would argue this type of appropriation, though not new, is the wave of the edutainment future. Let’s see…
